**About the opportunity**:
Uniting is currently seeking a Family Caseworker to join our Reconnecting Adolescents and Parents Team (RAPT) on the Central Coast - someone who wants to be more than just a caseworker. We’re looking for a changemaker. A bridge-builder. A fierce advocate for young people and their families.
Every day, young people across our community are facing family breakdowns, homelessness, and disconnection. In this role, you’ll provide early intervention support families with young people aged 10-18 years within the home, or wishing to return home. You will support families to build connection, nurture independence, and reconnect families with understanding, dignity, and hope.
**You’ll support young people to**:
- Stay connected to school or training
- Rebuild fractured family relationships
- Find meaningful community connections
**You’ll support parents**:
- Understand adolescent brain development
- Create safe boundaries within the home
- Enhance connection within the family
Your Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma of Community Services or related field
- 2 + years’ experience supporting vulnerable, at-risk youth and families
- Skills is case management, conflict resolution, and group facilitation
- Strong communication and advocacy skills
- Current driver’s licence and current NSW WWCC
