**About the role**:
This is a full-time 6-month contract opportunity located in Wyong NSW. Starting base annual salary of $79,823 to $87,169 negotiable based on experience, plus super, plus access to generous salary packaging options.

**About the opportunity**:
Based at our Doorways Hub in Wyong, this is your chance to walk alongside people at risk of or experiencing homelessness, helping them take the first steps towards stability and safety.
As our Intake Caseworker, you’ll be the warm, welcoming presence at our drop-in-centre - responding to walk-ins, conducting intake assessments, and providing essential casework support. You’ll also assist clients in navigating housing options, connecting with services, and regaining a sense of direction and hope.
You’ll also support our Reconnecting Adolescents and Parents Program, handling intakes - mostly over the phone and guiding families through challenges with care and compassion.
No two days are ever the same, and every day, you’ll know your presence matters.
Your Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma of Community Services or related field
- 2 + years’ experience supporting vulnerable young people and/or families in intake or community support roles
- A commitment to working respectfully with people from all backgrounds
- Confidence juggling multiple tasks in a dynamic setting
- Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
- Current driver’s licence and current NSW WWCC
