We are searching for driver-guides with exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds. The role requires a genuine passion for creating truly memorable Tasmanian experiences for visitors to our state.
We have a **casual position**. **Flexible hours and days**, you can choose the days and hours. There is the option for 1 day a week (10 hours) or 3 days a week (up to 30 hours).
The role may involve driving 200kms in a day giving the guests detailed descriptions of Tasmania's history, nature, industry, wilderness and local produce.
Desirable criteria:
- Medium rigid licence (not essential), Public Passenger license, Current First Aid.
- Skilled in conveying both guiding and interpretive commentary specialising in the areas around Tasmania.
- Ability to remain calm and take control in the event of vehicle/traffic or guest incidents.
- Ability to demonstrate cultural sensitivities to all nationalities.
