**About the Role**
Bank of Queensland are currently undertaking a very exciting business wide digital transformation, this will allow us to support our clients and customers even better and become the digital bank of the future with a personal touch. We are looking for IT Service Economic Analyst who can help assist with budgeting and forecasting for these amazing projects that are going ahead.

The key purpose of this position is to pro-actively support Group Technology in the understanding of expenditure and how this is attributed to services provided. In addition, this role will provide continual insights into the expense base of Group Technology, as well as taking a pro-active role in ensuring the accuracy and timely provision of financial performance reporting and associated service modelling.
- Assist in preparation and maintenance of cost budgets and rolling forecasts for Group Technology
- Assist in preparing and distributing monthly financial performance reports for Group Technology.
- Delivery of ongoing insights to the cost base of Group Technology, presented within business context.
- Implementation of, and adherence to, sound financial management practices and controls for expense management, that are aligned to corporate financial practices and policies.
- Financial insight and transparency into business unit expenses relative to prior periods, business drivers and business initiatives/projects in progress.
- Preparation of periodic financial performance and project reporting and other reports as required.
- Assistance with budgets and rolling forecasts and vendor billing analysis and invoice workflow management.
- Ensuring the integrity of data, and distribution of data to the business in a timely manner in support of decisions.
- Maintaining data and other records that create confidence in actual performance, forecasts, and budgets.
- Foster a collaborative working relationship between Group Technology, Finance and the Business.

**About you**
- IT experience with minimum of 3 years
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in developing and managing Financial models and reporting within the financial services industry
- Strong demonstrable experience in all facets of Service Economics
- Experience of working with vendors and external stakeholders.
- Banking/Finance industry exposure would be highly beneficial.
- Strong Excel skills
- Sound understanding of Financial and Accounting practices.
- ITIL Foundation Certified desirable
