**About the Role**:
Akkodis is currently partnering with a State Government Department to identify a Technical Lead/Architect who will assist the Technical Delivery Manager in providing oversight for technical design and delivery. The role involves collaborating with various domains, including architecture, networks, and security, to fulfill end-to-end technology requirements. This position is offered as a 15-month contract with the potential for extension.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Technical Proficiency: Extensive expertise in managing firewalls, cloud services, and technologies such as AWS/Azure, with a focus on DevOps and pipelines.
- Strategic Integration: Demonstrated experience aligning technical delivery efforts with strategic objectives, ensuring that solutions contribute to overarching goals.
- Collaborative Approach: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, departments, and stakeholders, fostering successful outcomes for projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Success in identifying and implementing process enhancements, streamlining workflows, and improving operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication: Experience in engaging with stakeholders across different levels, effectively managing expectations, and cultivating strong relationships to facilitate communication..

**Qualifications for the Role**:

- Demonstrated hands-on experience with firewalls, specifically Palo Alto and F5, as well as proxies, Microsoft Active Directory, on-premises, and cloud services and technologies (AWS/Azure), Microsoft Server Operating Systems, virtual machines, SOE, and virtual desktops.
- Proficient in integrating and utilizing Azure platform services across components using Pipelines, Dataverse, and Power Apps Flows.
- Thorough understanding of DevOps pipelines, release processes, and environment management within an Agile delivery environment.
- Strategic planning and designing of Azure APIs and associated data platform solutions.
- Design and integration of Azure platforms to enable secure and reliable data management and provisioning.
- Delivery and presentation of proof of concept variants to potential customers.
- Conducting requirements analysis and designing solution architectures.
- Collaboration with big data developers to ensure high-quality access to and supply of specified data.
- Ensuring platforms and data solutions can be deployed and operated in a highly repeatable and predictable manner through interaction and collaboration with DevOps specialists.
