The ICT Sourcing Lead will be responsible for managing the end-to-end ICT procurement process whilst managing the sourcing of certain projects for a new internal office fit out. All while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and delivering value for stakeholders. This temporary role is based in Brisbane and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact with a well established organisation.

Client Details

QTC is the central financing authority for the Queensland Government and provides financial resources and services for the State. They manage the State's funding program in the global capital markets to deliver sustainable and cost-effective borrowings for the Queensland Government-principally through Queensland Treasury. Their clients also include government owned corporations, departments, agencies, local governments, and other entities such as universities.

You will be part of their procurement team working on completing an exciting new project based around a new floor fit out.

Description

  • Manage the end-to-end ICT sourcing and procurement process, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand ICT requirements and provide strategic sourcing solutions.
  • Prepare and evaluate tenders, contracts, and supplier proposals.
  • Identify and engage with suppliers to negotiate favourable terms and conditions.
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation and ensure audit readiness.
  • Provide advice on market trends, supplier capabilities, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support contract management activities, including performance monitoring and issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and guidelines.

Profile

To succeed as an ICT Sourcing Lead, you should have:

  • ICT Sourcing Experience
  • Strong commercial skills and worked in a commercial environment (i.e. Mining, Financial Services, Infrastructure, etc)
  • Stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems and tools.
  • The capability to analyse and interpret data to inform decision-making.
