The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Workplace Relations Advisor to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide advice to the Senior Director (HRS), senior management and other stakeholders throughout Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service
- Offer assistance and specialist advice on a range of human resource topics
- Assist in the timely resolution of workplace relations issues of varying complexity, including organisational change, union engagement, industrial disputes and appeals
- Support complex organisational change processes, case management of more serious matters of diminished performance, disciplinary action, misconduct, employee grievances or complaints requiring an industrialised solution

About you

**To be successful in this position you will require**:

- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification, particularly in the areas of Employment Law, Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, or similar, would be highly regarded
- Evidence of vaccination against or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - COVID 19
- It will be a requirement of this role to operate across all GCH facilities and sites
- Driver Licence
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Salary
- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $94 759 - $103 102 per annum

Based in Carrara, Workplace Relations works closely with HRBPs and the Work Health and Safety team (particularly in relation to long-term injured or ill employees), as well as divisional and line managers to facilitate the resolution of workplace relations issues through the provision of expert advice and guidance.
