**Your new company**
This highly sought after and agile government agency is a vital member of Australia's national security community and oversees many functions including intelligence, cyber security and offensive operations. Hays is partnering exclusively with this agency to fill an APS6 Project Support Officer vacancy.

**Your new role**
This position will see you work within a team responsible for planning capability outcomes and supporting the integration of capability within the business. Working across the various projects and also supporting the Director, you will:

- Support project management, administrative and coordination requirements.
- Lead the development and maintenance of project planning activities and processes
- Research, draft and prepare briefs, complex correspondence and reports including submissions for committee consideration.
- Work collaboratively, operate as an effective team member and provide constructive feedback.
- Engage with relevant stakeholders and understand their expectations and concerns.
- Resolve problems using expertise, taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this position you will possess initiative and be able to demonstrate:

- Understanding of and/or experience working across project development and delivery
- Sound judgement and strong organisational skills
- Strong team focus and be able to respond flexibility to change
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.

To be eligible you MUST be an Australian Citizen, and hold or be able to obtain a minimum Baseline AGSVA security clearance.
