**Cranbrook Care is looking for a Property Maintenance Officer to join the team at their boutique residence, Lansdowne Gardens in Neutral Bay**

**ABOUT THE ROLE...**

We are currently seeking a full-time Property Maintenance Officer to work Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3 pm. You will ensure the presentation of a well-maintained environment which maximises safety and minimises risks for residents, visitors and staff at Lansdowne Gardens.

You will:

- Oversee the management and delivery of the Maintenance program, including managing internal staff and external contractors.
- Maintain the internal and external building of the facility in a manner that ensures safety and aesthetics.
- Be the go to person to fix various things which will improve the resident experience, perform preventive maintenance and repair on the property.
- Repairs range from patching and painting to fixing equipment and troubleshooting issues along with responding to more urgent requests for general repairs.
- Be able to learn our internal systems and programs to assist as required
- Proactive maintenance will be a priority.

**ABOUT YOU...**
This job will suit a tradesman / handyman preferably with experience in the building, repair and maintenance industry.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- A tradesperson of some description
- Experience in the delivery and monitoring of a property maintenance program
- Experience in maintenance of building, equipment and grounds
- Ability to paitch and paint
- Solid IT skills for communication and planning purposes
- Ability to motivate and supervise other property services staff
- Experience maintaining relationship with and managing external contractors
- Ability to perform repairs on furniture, fittings and equipment
- Knowledge of handling and storage of chemicals
- Experience of propety maintenence in aged care desirable but not essential
- LR Drivers licence preferred
