Learning and Development Specialist

My client is looking for an experienced Learning and Development Specialist to design, develop, implement and evaluate L&D initiatives to increase the capability across the business. You will be working within a small national team. Ideally, they are looking for someone from a similar background.

**Responsibilities**
- Support Learning and Development initiatives, with a focus on employee development
- Develop and maintain high quality relationships with key stakeholders at all levels to build trust and the L&D brand
- Providing insights into current and contemporary practices and processes to recommend innovative improved approaches
- Provide managers and individuals with advice and information relating to both corporate and individual learning and development solutions
- Design and develop resources for leaders and employees that are easy to read and fit for purpose
- Use complex data and systems to analyze and understand key performance indicators related to L&D, and make recommendations to improve L&D offerings
- Align scheduled training activity and delivery with funding sources to minimise expenditure

**Selection criteria**
- Minimum 5 years L&D experience in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Able to think innovatively
- Works in a collaborative way
- Strong stakeholder engagement
- Strong relationship building skills
- Thinks critically and acts on the broader purpose of the system
- Demonstrate strong skills, knowledge and expertise in training design, delivery, and evaluation
