Clinical Applications Specialist/Radiology Admin Application Trainer
- 18 month Fixed Term Contract | $ 95,000 + super

Hawksworth have partnered with a Health Services Client to on-board a
**Clinical Applications Specialist/Radiology Admin Application Trainer on an 18 month Fixed Term Contract. This role will be based in East Melbourne.**

The role holder will be required to deliver excellence in diagnostic imaging and healthcare services to patients, referrers, customers and the community, and achieve business goals and targets.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Manage escalated tickets from the Imaging Applications Level 1 Support Service team that require advanced troubleshooting/assistance or further training and liaise with vendors to resolve issues, log issues requiring further investigation and obtain updates where needed.
- Ensure all escalated tickets are detailed and up to date so that the information they contain is relevant and sufficient.
- Maintain an overview of the Imaging Applications ticket queue/s to ensure resolutions within SLA timeframes.
- Log all requests/incidents in the ticket system, including any on-site requests, to ensure all support items are captured.
- Demonstrate a proactive ability and/or when called upon by Management, assist with answering support calls and resolving any service desk tickets; work proactively with the Support team to ensure all calls and tickets are responded to.

**Measures of Success**:

- Ensure all requests and incidents are correctly logged within the IT service management tool.
- Ensure all incidents are resolved within the defined SLA timeframes or triaged to the relevant vendor or team if required, and ensure end to end management of escalated matters to ensure incident/request closure rates are as high as possible.

**Skills/Competencies**:

- Excellent communication skills.

**Qualifications & Experience**:
**Essential**:

- At least 2 years’ experience within a Mission Critical IT Environment - preferably RIS/PACS or in other health industry.
- Experience and understanding of the interaction in workflow between a RIS and PACS.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering exemplary support to end-users at all levels of the business.

**Desirable**:

- Experience working in a radiology business in either the private or public sector.
- An understanding of medical terminology and Medicare billing advantageous.
- Holds a valid driver’s license.
