Richmond, Australia HeadBox Australia Full time

**Business Development Executive**

A Bit About HeadBox

HeadBox is Australia's fastest-growing event tech company, on a mission to reinvent the way people plan and book events. We connect businesses with unique venues through our intuitive platform and cutting-edge software, creating seamless experiences from start to booking. Already a market leader in the UK, we launched in Australia in 2020 and have been growing rapidly ever since.

At HeadBox, our purpose is simple**:we connect people and spaces to make brilliant things happen.**

The idea was born out of frustration with outdated, time-consuming venue booking processes. Since then, we've been building technology that simplifies event planning for corporates, venue managers, and event organisers alike.

In 2020, Ali Lord, former Head of Events at Dentsu Aegis UK, brought HeadBox to Australia after seeing firsthand the power of our platform. Today, we’re well-established in the Australian market and continuing to grow.

Now, we’re looking for a **driven and proactive** **Business Development Executive** to join our Melbourne team and help expand our venue partner network and support the next exciting phase of our growth.

The Role

**Lead Generation & Outreach**
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams on lead gen campaigns, and align lead generation efforts with wider business goals.

**Commercial Support**
- Attend key demos alongside your manager, assisting with proposal preparation, follow-up, and other commercial activities where needed.

**Sales Admin**
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM (HubSpot) and ensure all outreach activity is tracked and reported.

**Requirements**:

- **Commercial aspiration** - You have a hunger to succeed and exceed targets, and you’re eager to develop your sales skills and grow your career.
- **Communication** - You can engage confidently and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders and tailor your messaging to different audiences.
- **Collaborative mindset** - You embody the HeadBox values of brilliance, integrity, empathy, and curiosity.
- **Flexible and hands-on**:
