This role is primarily responsible for interpreting garment designs and development of garment specifications and quality assurance which meet company, brand and merchandise objectives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyse and check garment construction, measuring and fitting all samples to ensure the make and measurements meet spec/construction requirements.
- Coordinate fit sessions and record any SMS/FIT/PP comments with assistance from Product Developers.
- Ensure comments & fit notes are recorded correctly and clearly communicated to factories.
- Participation in design meetings with Designers for range reviews.
- Preparation of salesman samples (SMS) and hand over to the Sales/Marketing teams for photoshoots.
- Management and organisation of sample room.
- Bulk/store bulk checking randomly to ensure workmanship consistency and quality.
- Ensure the critical path timelines are met and any roadblocks identified and resolved.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve fabric and style queries and ensure the accuracy or care labels and information.
- Complete wear testing.

- Demonstrates the ability to gather information clearly, logically, and impartially, to understand all aspects of the problem, then works collaboratively to develop a solution.
