6 month CFO contract with Human Services organization based Brisbane Northside
- Oversee large team across finance, IT and property assets

Our client is a large not-for-profit organization that are dedicated to improving the lives of the individuals and families they support. An internal restructure has led to the need to hire a senior, savvy CFO, ( ideally with prior NFP exposure) who will be an integral member of the Executive Leadership Team and have oversight of financial, IT, transformation projects and asset management. The role is initially for 6 months and may suit someone full time or a more experienced CFO on a 3 -4 day / week basis.

Some key responsibilities will include:

- Providing best practice financial / management/ Board reporting for a complex, multi-site entity;
- Ensuring timely and accurate deliver of financial information that satisfies all governance, management and regulatory requirements;
- Strong cashflow and budgetary management;
- Overseeing a significant property portfolio, including acquisition, divestment, leasing and Capital Asset Management Plan;
- Leading a large team of approximately (60) across finance, IT, projects and asset portfolios;
- Overseeing IT service delivery, ensuring quality day to day service delivery along with more strategic infrastructure and security services;
- Providing high level support including scenario modelling of strategic projects and future growth opportunities; and
- Supporting the CEO and ELT to deliver a program of transformational strategic change.

The successful applicant will have the following:

- CPA/CA qualifications with a minimum of 10 years strategic CFO experience
- Ideally prior Human Services / Not-for-Profit exposure
- Demonstrated expertise in as an integral ELT member
- Prior leadership of large teams across Finance, IT, Property Portfolio
- A genuine interest in supporting an organization that are passionate about improving the lives of others.
