A Private Equity backed Australian business is looking for an Interim CFO to join their team during a busy project period. The role is initially 3 months but could extend.

The CFO will lead the team through month-end and year-end and will be responsible for the following:

- Lead and Support the finance team
- Manage FY23 audit process (includes an acquisition)
- Finish FY24 budget
- Prepare monthly board reporting (automating where possible)
- Prepare bank covenant reporting
- Upgrade monthly reporting (GL code mapping)
- Upgrade Netsuite system
- 15 Week cashflow forecast (updating on a monthly basis, reviewing actuals versus forecast)
- Ad hoc project support

Skills required:

- CA/CPA/ACCA qualified
- Detailed with a solid technical foundation
- Hands-on leadership style
- Team player - mentors the team
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility to deal with (a lot of) ad hoc requests

This role is to start ASAP based in Brisbane. We will move quickly on this role.
