The **Property Maintenance Team Member** assists the Property Manager in the effective operation and upkeep of the School’s properties, including buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment. Although based at Wentworth Falls campus, the role may require travel to and work at all school campuses. This position is integral in maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for staff, students, and visitors.

**Employment Overview**
- Permanent Full-Time
- Based at Wentworth Falls
- Preferred start: Early February 2025
- Salary in accordance with the MEA

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain the school’s buildings, equipment, vehicles, and external areas
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, patching, carpentry, and grounds maintenance
- Assist with event set-up, pack-down, and furniture movement
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements for school facilities
- Support the Property Manager with maintaining a safe working environment and responding to hazard reports
- Provide assistance with school events, including drama and musical productions
- Coordinate property team tasks and liaise with contractors as directed by the Property Manager

**Essential Requirements**
- Experience in a similar role with excellent organisational and planning skills
- Basic computer literacy and a valid driver’s license (manual vehicles)
- Current NSW Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain one)
- Full Australian work rights

**Desirable Requirements**
- Experience in educational settings or similar institutions
- Relevant trade qualifications or training (e.g., White Card, Working at Heights, chemical handling)
- Heavy Rigid (HR) license
- Ability to read technical site/building drawings
- Ability to supervise staff and maintain high standards of service
- Current First Aid certification
