**The Opportunity**:
The Commercialization and External Manufacturing Manager plays a critical role in driving the successful launch of new products and changes to existing products produced on behalf of SPC global by third party Manufacturers.

This position acts as the bridge between internal development teams and external manufacturers to ensure quality, compliance, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery. The role manages strategic relationships with third-party manufacturing partners.

This role supports the company’s growth strategy by enabling speed to market, driving external capability, and ensuring excellence in execution from concept to commercialisation. It also contributes to supply chain resilience and cost optimization through effective third-party manufacturing management.

**Key activities of this role include**:

- Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver, third party produced, product launches on time and in full.
- Own project timelines, commercialization readiness checklists, and product trial coordination.
- Work with the product development team to deliver manufacturing solutions considering the best supply option from internal and external partners.
- Ensure technical transfer, trial validation, and production ramp-up occur per quality and cost standards.
- Conduct post-launch reviews of new products and drive continuous improvement to optimise ongoing cost of product.
- Manage commercial and operational relationships with third-party manufacturers.
Manage commercial terms, quality agreements, and service level expectations.
- Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with key manufacturing partners.
Monitor third party production KPIs (OTIF, yield, cost, quality) and identify areas for performance improvement.
- Support dual sourcing and risk mitigation strategies.
- Promote and model a strong safety culture internally and with external partners.
- Ensure all external manufacturers comply with company and regulatory safety, quality, and ethical standards.
- Coach and mentor junior team members and cross-functional peers in project and external partner management.

**Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, Supply Chain, or Business Project management certification (desirable).
- Project management and product commercialisation.
- Third-party manufacturing management.
- Manufacturing process scale-up and validation.
- Supply chain planning and cost analysis.
- Quality, regulatory and GMP understanding relating to food & Beverage manufacturing.
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role in FMCG - preferably food & beverage.
- Proven capability in formal project management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple 3rd party manufacturer.
