At nCino, the Functional Consultant position is a senior-level role that encompasses leadership in both functional domain expertise and program/project management.

As a Functional Consultant you will be part of a high-performing professional services team focused on evaluating how the nCino product can best meet our Asia-Pacific clients' needs. Collaborating closely with colleagues and nCino partners, you will oversee the implementation process for nCino's customers. You will provide best practice guidance on how nCino can be embedded into the customer target state environment, and how nCino product capabilities can deliver transformational business value.

**Responsibilities**
- Learn the Salesforce platform and nCino Bank Operating System Application
- Oversee all aspects of the software implementation project that typically lasts 3-9 months for small to medium sized financial institutions and 9+ months large enterprise financial institutions
- Manage daily project load amongst one to three clients and answer all project related questions in a timely manner
- Be able to correctly understand, organise and evaluate the risks and needs of the client to identify large issues, potential obstacles and risks
- Contribute to nCino Knowledge articles and project delivery artifacts from issues that have arisen and the solutions identified during the implementation process which enables knowledge transfer for wider teams
- Create and manage Project Plans and lead regular Project status meetings for each client
- Train customers on the use of the nCino software as part of the implementation process and or;
- Assist customers with user acceptance testing of the nCino Bank Operating System
- Oversee customers when they go-live on the nCino software and manage the handoff to the nCino Support and Customer Success Team

**Qualifications**
Required:

- Minimum of 8 years of previous financial industry experience; specifically, a commercial or small business or mortgage background and familiarity of banking language and processes and a bachelor's degree or a combination of experience, education, & superior performance
- Exceptional communication skills and an innovative problem solving personality
- Proven ability to interact and communicate with customers in a professional, positive and constructive way; comfortable with public speaking and leading a meeting
- Ability and motivation to learn quickly and independently
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritize daily tasks, projects and workload to deliver according to the project schedule
- Strong analytical mindset; being able to observe a client's current process and analyze how the nCino product will benefit them
- Strong leadership skills; previous managerial and project management experience preferred
- Ability to present and explain project specific information to diverse types of audiences
- Strong ability to define and document business and functional requirements, business process maps ("As-Is/To be") flows and diagrams
- Familiar with APAC banking regulations and governance
- Ability to travel 50-75% of the time
- Fluent in English
- Ability to work outside of standard business hours as necessary

The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum of the pay range for each job posting, which is used to determine new hire rates/salaries and takes into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, proficiencies, experience, education, licensures/certifications, as well as business and organizational needs. nCino reserves the right to modify the posted range consistent with our internal practices and external market movement. The recruiter for this job posting can share more compensation details during the recruitment process, as base salary is only one component of the total compensation package per position posted.

The base salary range for this job is:
$148,900.00 - $253,100.00
