**A place to make a difference**:
In this part time, maximum term position (3 days per week, negotiable*, for six months) you’ll work within a team to provide case management and safety planning support to women and children who are escaping or experiencing domestic violence, within the refuge accommodation program. Please note: the role attracts some mínimal rostered on-call responsibilities. As part of our Ada’s Haven DFV Refuge and Outreach Program, you’ll report to our Team Leader.
- **Ideally, the preferred working arrangement is Wednesday - Friday, however there may be capacity for flexibility and extension in these days/hours.**
- You will make a difference by: _
- Directly supporting children and young people accessing crisis accommodation with their immediate needs after experiencing DFV
- Conducting individual and group activities that will support parent/child attachment and healthy development and transitions
- Enhancing child focused practice in the region both within 54 reasons and more broadly in the community
- Connecting families with the services they need and providing appropriate referrals

- This role requires: _
- A Bachelor/Diploma of Social Work, Psychology or relevant Human Services Qualification and/or significant experience in a similar service
- Knowledge and understanding of domestic and family violence, including the impact on children
- Experience working with families from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Current driver's licence
