**The Role**

Reporting to the Area Maintenance Supervisor, an exciting opportunity has risen for a Maintenance Officer at our Residential Aged care facility at Tenison, Goulburn.

**This is a part time role working 1 day per week with flexible start times and days of the week.**
- You will also be providing gardening maintenance tasks (sweeping, hosing, keeping the outside of buildings clean and tidy, mowing lawns, hedging and general garden maintenance)
- Will communicate effectively with residents, staff, and families, being empathetic and understanding of the needs of aged residents.

- A current NSW Driver License
- Sensitive to the needs of the elderly in a residential care setting
- Ability to work under minimum supervision
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Basic computer skill
- Understanding of workplace safety
- Experience as a Maintenance Person in Aged Care or similar industry is desirable
- Able to provide evidence of COVID-19 & influenza vaccinations
