PERSOLKELLY are looking for a highly experienced ICT Sourcing Specialist for a long-term contract with one of Canberra's largest government bodies. A Baseline Security clearance is essential.
- Be an active member of the ICT Strategic Sourcing team, providing expert technical advice and guidance in the delivery the ICT Sourcing Strategic through a series of complex ICT sourcing transactions.
- Work with stakeholders to develop approach to market documentation for a number of ICT service bundles, and in doing so, help develop the future operating models to align with the ICT Sourcing Strategy.
- Develop and assist in the development of procurement related documentation, including RFQ's, evaluation materials, negotiation materials and contract materials for the ICT bundles.
- Manage and assist with the evaluation, negotiation and contract finalisation of approaches to market for the ICT bundles.
- Undertake, as necessary, research and investigation into modern ICT goods and services, practices and delivery models.
- Provide mentorship and support to the departments internal ICT procurement and contract management teams with a view to increasing individuals expertise in delivering departmental procurement outcomes.
- Significant experience in the development and delivery of large and complex ICT sourcing transactions.
- Strong ICT technical understanding to allow them to quickly become a trusted advisor to offer advice and guidance across a range of ICT disciplines including end user computing, IT Service Management (including SIAM), on-premise and cloud compute and storage, enterprise ICT tooling, network services, telecommunications and ICT operations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, mentoring and teaming capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication and documentation skills.
- The ability to quickly identify opportunities for improved ICT and delivery outcomes, including through research and investigation as necessary.
- The ability to present information and communicate expectations across conflicting priorities/workloads and a challenging environment.
- Be able to work under pressure with close attention to detail, organising priorities and meeting deadlines.
