One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced **Senior Technical Specialist** to work on an ICT Sustainment and Resilience program leading activities such as Server Remediation and uplifting Legacy Applications. The role can be based from their **Canberra** **office** or **offsite** with the** **successful **Senior Technical Specialist** to be offered a **12-month contract with 2 X 12-month** extension options**.**
The successful** Senior Technical Specialist** will be responsible for the below:
- Developing and documenting strategies to remediate key critical infrastructure risks
- Leading technical planning and delivery of the project in accordance with program outcomes
- Managing technical teams and partnering with multiple vendors to delivery outcomes under tight timeframes
- Ensuring compliance with the relevant governance arrangements
The successful **Senior Technical Specialist **will have experience in the following:
- Ability to adapt to work across Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Demonstrated experience with Nutanix and VMware compute environments
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing complex technical solutions
- Experience developing Disaster Recovery framework plans and system recovery procedures
