**Team Overview**

The Technology and Information Management team maintain Comcare’s Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) infrastructure and provide strategic leadership, governance, solutions and advice for the effective management of information.

The ICT Contracts and Vendor Manager will provide specialist advice and manage the procurement and contract management of IT infrastructure, on premise software, software as service and professional services. This role will manage and implement complex ICT procurement and contract management including contract negotiation, performance management, vendor relationship management, contract governance and quality assurance.

The ICT Contracts and Vendor Manager will manage complex issues, evaluate risks, and use professional judgement to make high impact decisions across the ICT landscape.

The ICT Contracts and Vendor Manager will work closely with Comcare’s ICT Leaders and external service providers to deliver complex ICT solutions to Comcare business areas, this includes establishing contract management plans and measuring performance during the contract lifecycle including the management of vendors.

The successful applicant will require highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders and build effective relationships and networks.

The successful applicant will also be required to undertake analysis, preparation, and presentation of complex and technical documents from a range of contract and technical data sources.

**Qualifications/Experience**

Mandatory
- Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting and/or equivalent experience of 5 years or more in ICT procurement.
- Knowledge and experience in the management of performance-based ICT service contracts within a large organisation.

Desirable
- Qualifications or understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library).

**Security Clearance**

Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
