Penrith, Australia Live & Learn Disability Group Full time

Live and Learn Group is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join the team, located in Penrith.

We are looking for individuals who possess the right empathy and ethic with suitable experience to work with our Individual Support clients

**Shifts that we currently need to fill are 7am-10am, 3.15pm-9pm and 4.30pm-9.30pm during weekdays and weekends.**

**About You**

To be successful in this role you must:

- be able to build rapport easily with clients and co-workers
- have the ability to be flexible, strong and resilient in challenging situations

You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

- ensuring all medication administration is undertaken according to NDIS and Live & Learn Policies & Procedures
- transporting participants to appointments and daily activities
- supporting participants with personal hygiene, self-care, shopping, general tasks and domestic duties
- completing shift progress notes

Requirements for this role:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willing to obtain
- Working with Children's Check or willing to obtain
- Police Check
- Infection Control Training
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Valid **Australian Drivers Licence**:

- Comprehensively insured vehicle
- **Minimum** Cert III in Individual Support (Disability)
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in the Disability sector
- The right to work in Australia

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.46 - $56.63 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- CPR Certification (preferred)
- Australian Drivers Licence (required)
- Comprehensively Insured Vehicle (required)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
