**Your Role**

Working closely with the Learning & Development Coordinator onsite at the meat processing plant, the Training Coordinator’s primary role is to monitor employee training requirements against position Training Plans and work to advance employee’s knowledge and skills.
This will involve spending a lot of your time on the processing floor and developing strong relationships with workers in this area of the business as you provide them with constructive feedback and take them on a training journey.
You will also be responsible for:
- Preparing training certificates, booklets and materials
- Scheduling internal and external training courses
- Liaising and building rapport with internal and external stakeholders (eg. AAC, RTOs, service providers).
- Identifying potential leadership capabilities and arranging training for skills development
- Supporting and coaching site leaders to deliver effective on-the-job learning and development of employees
- Developing and maintaining learning resources and materials (including videos and training booklets)
- Maintaining training records and data entry
- Assist in creating and updating work instructions
- Providing site training reports, monitoring and rectifying gaps, particularly for licences, first aiders and any compliance requirements.
This role will require the successful incumbent to be onsite during production hours which are 6am - 3pm.
**About You**
***
While the technical aspect of meat processing and its training requirements can be taught, you will ideally have a background in some kind of training or L&D capacity. A Cert IV TAE qualification or similar will be highly regarded, as will previous experience in meat processing, food production, manufacturing or agriculture.
