An exciting opportunity for a Junior Accounts Officer to join a well established business in Eastern Suburbs

As a Junior Accounts Officer, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced professionals in the field and gain valuable experience in the accounting industry. We offer ongoing training and support to help you achieve your career goals.

**The Role**
- Review and verify invoices ensuring accuracy
- Input, code, and process a high volume of invoices and Payroll entries to cost centre or GL
- Assist in the daily maintenance of the Accounts mailbox
- Prepare and process Jobs and Petty Cash reconciliations
- Update and maintain vendor databases in a timely manner
- Enter and upload payments to the bank ready for authorising
- Schedule pay runs based on stated company payment terms
- Verify and process employee expense claims and manage the approval and payment process
- Fortnightly/Monthly Credit Card coding, management, and reconciliation
- Correspond with vendors & staff and respond promptly to all queries
- Manage communications both internally and externally on prompt and weekly payments
- Process payment summaries and issue remittance advice
- Process and maintain PAYG/PAYE payments and reconciliations

**What you need to succeed**
- Data entry experience essential
- Unrestricted working rights
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confidence and go-getter attitude
