We have a fantastic opportunity for a Manufacturing Team Leader to join our collaborative and supportive team. You will be a hands-on leader, where you are responsible for managing the shift-to-shift operations and performance of the factory, with a team of up to 8. You will ensure the safe and efficient operation of extrusion lines and production areas, achieving quality outputs and products that meet all standards and customer expectations.

What will you do?- Work a 12-hour continuous shift-based roster (night/day), with set rotations over a 28-day roster cycle- Lead and develop the health and safety culture for the team- Provide leadership and supervision for the team on shift- Engage and motivate the team and work with them to solve issues- Provide support to operators and play a key role in their learning, development, competency and experience across production KPI’s, continuous improvement, safety and quality practices and effective teamwork

About you- Demonstrated leadership experience and proven shift management of small/medium sized teams in FMCG/continuous batch manufacturing/heavy industrial operations- Mechanical aptitude who enjoys working hands on whilst leading a team- Ability to set and align balanced operational priorities with the emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, throughput, proactive reporting, and a continuous improvement mindset- Effective communication across workplace and workforce diversity- Excellent time management, sense of urgency, results focussed to meet daily production KPI’s and targets- Demonstrated collaborative style and cross functional engagement- You have a can-do attitude, are flexible, adaptable and want to jump onboard to help us continue to grow our manufacturing capability- Licensed: High Risk Work licence (Forklift) and own transport and driver’s licence
