National Inventory Controller

**Your Impact**
As a National Inventory Controller with Asahi Beverages, you will be joining a close-knit and highly capable team that is accountable for ensuring that all spare parts, equipment, and materials are sourced and stocked in optimal quantities (balancing availability and cost) to support equipment refurbishment, installation, and maintenance activities across all relevant states. Reporting into the Asset & Procurement Manager and based in Keilor Park, this is an exciting opportunity that will allow you to utilise and build your existing skillset in this field whilst providing value within our organisation.
Please note: This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity.
**Key responsibilities**
- Strong focus on inventory accuracy, driving stock turns and availability of key parts
- Analysis of inventory holdings, consumption, slow moving/obsolete items to drive continuous improvement initiatives Nationally
- Manage all inbound and outbound items and processes as per national procedures
- Work with suppliers to manage purchase orders, timely deliveries, and issue resolution
- Assist Warehouse Co-Ordinator’s with picklists and managing spare parts inventory
- Maintain stock levels/turns in line with targets and thresholds that are set
- Actively look for opportunities to reduce costs Nationally in relation to parts & equipment
- Ensure all company workplace health and safety policies and procedures are followed and compliance with relevant legislative requirements

Your experience/qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment in a similar role, preferably within FMCG
- Previous experience with continuous improvement and working to operational targets
- Sound SAP knowledge including SAP based warehouse management systems
- Ability to build customer relationships
- Solid MS Office computer skills including Excel
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
