We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Inventory controller to support the day to day operations of a global transport company.

Skills
The ideal candidate will have a "can-do" attitude and prove experience in a similar role within the Transport and Logistics industry and competently demonstrate skills in:

  • Proactivity: Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Reliability: High level of reliability and dependability in managing inventory and meeting deadlines.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.

Scope Of Work

  • Inventory Management: Managing inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and ensuring accurate inventory reporting for clients.
  • Warehouse Operations: Overseeing warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping inventory.
  • Client Communication: Communicating with clients regarding inventory status, issues, and concerns.
  • Inventory Optimisation: Analysing inventory data to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement

Required Skills

  • Organizational Skills: Essential for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock levels, and coordinating with various teams.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using inventory management software and other relevant computer programs is crucial.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy is paramount in inventory control, so strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Time Management Skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication is needed to interact with suppliers, warehouse staff, and other stakeholders

  • Reliability: High level of reliability and dependability in managing inventory and meeting deadlines.

  • 2-3 years epxerince in a similar role
