About the Role
We're seeking a Systems & Compliance Officer to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of our Student Management System (SMS) and Learning Management System (LMS).
In this pivotal role, you'll manage data integrity, system configuration, and reporting processes to support compliance with ASQA, Smart & Skilled, ACE, and VET Student Loan requirements. You'll also play a key part in improving system workflows, supporting trainers and staff, and ensuring audit readiness.
This is a Fixed Term, Part Time role (0.8 FTE) across 4 days per week until 30th June 2026.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain data integrity across SMS and LMS platforms, ensuring funding and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare AVETMISS and funding reports, conduct data audits, and assist with audit evidence and responses.
• Manage enrolment, completion, and attendance workflows for accurate funding triggers and reporting.
• Support LMS builds, configure course templates and assessment mapping, and test SCORM/xAPI imports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system or data sync issues, escalating to vendors when needed.
• Develop system documentation, SOPs, and user guides; deliver staff training on compliance workflows.
• Identify and implement system and process improvements to drive efficiency and data quality.
About You
You're a detail oriented, problem solver with strong technical and analytical skills. You enjoy optimising systems, improving processes, and supporting others to use technology effectively.
You'll bring:
• Experience with Student Management Systems (preferably aXcelerate) and SMS reporting.
• Demonstrated experience producing AVETMISS and other funding extracts.
• Experience configuring or importing SCORM/xAPI packages and mapping LMS results.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and data reconciliation skills.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements within the VET sector.
