Sales Representative Automotive Aftermarket Division

Job Description:
- To increase the penetration of Automotive Aftermarket Products and exceed the sales forecast for the products in your territory.- To achieve annual sales operating plans.- To drive sales throughout the Transportation Industry by delivering strong head office promotional calendars- To identify and prioritise market segment and alternative channel opportunities for Automotive Aftermarket Division Products - (May include Marine & Commercial Vehicle)- Prepare and execute annual sales plan.- Foster strong relationships with key account contacts at head office level- Support the execution of plans through AAD distribution network.- To take responsibility for other products/projects as required.- To spend 80% of territory time face to face with the end user customer- Responsibility for a regional sales territory, which will include overnight travel

Qualifications:
- Higher School Certificate or equivalent- No specific tertiary qualifications required- Cert III in Paint Technician or Panel Beater Technician preferred

Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years in a professional sales role; experience in industrial sales preferred- Strong selling and key account management skills- Proven track record of strong and consistent recent sales results- High degree of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint- Business acumen with strong verbal communication and excellent presentation skills- Strong listening skills and attention to detail- Confident in interactions with internal teams and external customers- Problem-solving ability and resourceful innovation to meet customer requirements- Knowledge of industrial products or terminology is an advantage

Additional Attributes:
- Previous supervisory experience preferred, but a passion for developing this ability is essential
