IP Recruitment is looking for a self-driven and proactive Maintenance Fitter to join our client’s team on a full-time basis located in Osborne Park. You will be working 42 to 45 hours per week including most Saturday’s and will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Maintaining and repairing various equipment including packaging. machinery, grinders, conveyors and vacuum machine.
- Being able to diagnose, fault find and repair.
- Performing preventative maintenance schedules, attending breakdowns, minimising down time and implementing constant improvement initiatives.
- Playing an active part in installation and overhaul activities
- Carrying out inspections.
- Maintain safe work & operating practices and high standard of housekeeping.
- Contributing to team structures to achieve Maintenance targets.
- Involvement with Company continuous improvement.
- Basic welding - Stick & mix (desirable)
- Forklift licence - (desirable).

To be considered for this role, you will possess:

- Experience in meat processing environment (desirable)
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Willing and able to undergo a pre-employment medical
- The ability to be flexible with your availability and work hours
- The ability to multitask and prioritise
- The ability to be highly organised, reliable, and committed to the role
- Australian recognised trade qualifications
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

**Salary**: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
