**Duties include**:

- Participating in the planned maintenance program.
- Line changeovers and production maintenance.
- Responding to and managing breakdowns.
- Performing routine checks, inspections, and preventive works.
- Ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and GoodHygiene Practices (GHP).
- Undertaking preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and breakdown response.
- Problem solving both immediate and long-term issues.
- Identifying, diagnosing, and repairing breakdown.
- Carrying out preventative maintenance routines and developing maintenance register.
- Service and inspection of plant assets.
- Welding and fabrication of steel structures and repairs to plant.
- Service and maintenance of all company pumps, fans, blowers, conveyors, motors, generators, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems.

**Your success will depend on your great workplace attitude and ideally**
- 5+ years’ experience as a Maintenance Fitter in a manufacturing industry.
- Fitter/Machinist trade certificate.
- Welding and lathe experience a distinct advantage.
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience (preferable).
- Factory / production background with a high-level trouble shooting capability.
- Flexibility within tight time schedules and in accordance with variable workload demands.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Forklift License (High Risk LF).
- Elevated Work Platform, Confined Space, Electrical Disconnect/reconnect Licence.
- Clear communication skills and stakeholder management.
- Basic computing skills and writing shift report.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Welding: 3 years (preferred)
- Electrical discharge machining: 3 years (required)
- Maintenance Fitter Machinist: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)
