**About the role**
Inner West Council is currently seeking reliable, conscientious and dedicated individual with great customer service skills to join our diverse and hardworking Resource Recovery Team as a Team Member Driver.
As a valued team member of our Resource Recovery team, you will be responsible for operating a waste compaction vehicle and supervising the staff assigned to the vehicle undertaking day or night shift waste collection services, which includes but is not limited to garbage, recycling, garden organics, clean up and lane cleaning.

**Remuneration**
$68,138.72 - $75,259.60 + Superannuation
**Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications**
1. Class HR Drivers Licence, basic computer skills and literacy.
2. Demonstrated strong customer service focus and being conscientious and reliable.
3. Demonstrated ability to perform work safely at all times and actively ensuring the safety of your team members and others including the public and community at large.
4. Available and prepared to work alternative starting times, shifts and service types across two depots. Twenty four (24) hours’ notice will be given.
5. Suitable level of fitness relative to position. (See functional requirements and physical attributes listed below).
6. Ability and preparedness to work flexibly across any collection services in a team based customer focussed environment.
7. Must be available to work on Public Holidays and weekends.
