**The Role**

Russell Healthcare are looking for Support workers who genuinely care and enjoy helping individuals with greater independence. It is Important to understand every individual’s needs and how they wish to continue living.

Location:Alderley + Kippa Ring + North Brisbane area

Male Client with complex Mental Health and suffer from ABI- community access and appointments

Female Client complex Mental health and schizophrenia - community access and

We are looking for support workers that have necessary experience working with different mental health issues and have worked with brain injuries. I am looking for people with a empathetic background, forward thinking and problem solving skills, Relevant experience in taking the lead with helping these gentleman organise and maintain their daily living. Clients would ideally like support workers that are fluent in English. Needing workers that are into physical health to motivate and encourage these clients to attend physio and appointments.

Transport is needed
- Car is a must

**YOU MUST BE QUALIFIED**

Services we provide for our clients are.
- Domestic Assistance
- Personal Care
- Social support
- Transport
- Shopping, doctor’s appointments etc
- Meal preparation
- Dementia care
- Palliative care
- High needs care
- Squalor and Hoarding cleaning
- Respite care
- Sleep overs
- Lawns and gardens

**Skills and Requirements**

It is a requirement to have had at least 12 months experience in this industry and all up to date certifications to be qualified for an interview.
- Police Check
- Blue card
- Ndis Workers screening
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- First Aid Certification
- Cert 3 in Disability or Aged care
- NDIS Mandatory training cert (we can provide training)

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $29.00 - $65.00 per hour
