JCICARE SUPPORT SERVICES is seeking to employ suitable Disability Support Workers to join our growing team in Brisbane. Our participants require only the best So, if you are reliable, compassionate, patient and committed to making a difference, then this position is for you.

Available shifts include daytime, late/evening & sleepovers; flexibility to cover multiple shifts is highly desired. As this position involves working with participants within their own homes, shifts may vary in length from 3 - 8+ hours.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Promote and develop independent living skills
Assist participants with personal care
Provide assistance to access the local community
Meal preparation, domestic duties and medication administration
Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
Communicate with team members, family members, allied health services and other support services

**QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE**

Hold a current Cpr and first aid certificate
NDIS workers screening or yellow card and blue Cards
Certificate III in disability or related fields (or willingness to obtain)
Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
Have relevant support work experience
MUST have a current drivers licence, Roadworthy & Fully Insured Vehicle and a Willingness to Use Own Vehicle to Transport Participants.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $32.00 - $65.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brisbane Northside QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)
