**Description**:
**The Role**:
We are looking for a 12-month maternity leave cover for our Chief of Staff at 5B, starting as soon as possible (Alice Lang our current CoS heads off in early August). The Chief of Staff role at 5B is an amazing opportunity to work very closely with a founder-CEO-tech-maverick-genius on the technology that will take solar huge, global, and robotic. We have 71MW on the ground across 143 project sites and 5 continents. We have raised over $100m in the past 3 years including investments from strategic partners bp and AES. We received a $14m co-funding grant from ARENA to automate the assembly and deployment of solar farms.

Taking on a Chief of Staff role is a guaranteed front seat to the wild ride of building a business as it transitions very rapidly from a Series A in 2020, to the task you’ll lead: our Series C fundraising, starting now. You’ll need to be game for a dynamic, hands-on role in helping our Executive team understand, set, and execute on their strategic priorities, and eager to dive straight into the business at our combined office space and workshop in Mascot, Sydney. The summary of the responsibilities is below, and you will directly support the CEO and Deputy CEO in their day-to-day work as well as long-term planning, external engagements, and Board processes.

**Core Accountabilities**:

- Drive our AUD 100m+ Series C fundraising campaign including collateral, process, roadshow, due diligence
- Drive effectiveness and decision-making agenda for the senior leadership team
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to address key pain points across the organisation.
- Define an operating rhythm for the organisation to deliver clear communication and decision-making.
- Manage executive team (including supporting colleagues to manage) relationships with Board, investors, corporate strategics, CSR/ESG stakeholders
- Orchestrate powerful interactions between the company and critical external stakeholders (Board, investors, thought leadership community, corporate strategies, ESG stakeholders).
