**About the Opportunity**:
John Holland is a top tier contractor with an enviable track record in delivering large scale and iconic Infrastructure projects. Connected to the delivery of a major project we now seek two (2) Trainers to join our team and work on this major infrastructure project. You will join a strong and supportive People Team and a high performing broader project team.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Delivering accredited and non-accredited training to John Holland personnel, project partners and external clients.
- Assessing personnel in key rail skills and equipment
- Assisting curriculum designers in developing new material by acting as Subject Matter Experts and participating in the validation and piloting process
- Act as relationship builders within the business, providing key training information and advice to Operational Personnel
- Providing mentoring to John Holland field personnel
- Ensure that training and assessments both in the classroom and field are delivered in a way that provides a safety focus and risk analysis to ensure the safety of trainees and continuous improvement across Rail business sites.
- Seek innovating methods for delivering training and assessments in line with safety and operational requirements

**About you**:

- Demonstrated experience in delivering a Training program within construction and/or engineering
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Strong Leadership Skills
- Sound knowledge of RTO practices and procedures including the AQF and AQTF requirements and standards
- Sound knowledge of Safeworking and John Holland safety and rail safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Effective Training and Assessing capabilities.
