**About the Role**

We are seeking a **Progression & Awards Coordinator** to play a pivotal role in ensuring students meet academic and administrative requirements for progression. This position will oversee the accurate awarding of degrees and academic documents, manage appeals, and handle special considerations.

This position will be based at our** Sydney **campus.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Progression Management**: Create study plans and monitor course progression; identify at-risk students and coordinate appropriate interventions.
- ** Awards Coordination**: Conduct audits, issue work placement letters, prepare graduand reports, and oversee the printing of academic documents.
- ** Special Consideration and Appeals**: Investigate academic and non-academic appeals; maintain the Special Consideration register.
- ** Data Integrity and Compliance**: Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate student records in the information system and PRISMS.
- ** Team Management**: Distribute workloads, supervise and mentor Progression and Awards Advisors, and foster a positive team culture.

**Education, Experience, and Skills**:

- Tertiary qualification in education, student administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated experience in student course progression and graduation coordination.
- Proficiency in student management systems and **PRISMS**; strong understanding of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standard) and/or Standards for RTO’s 2015, and the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities for diverse stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, with a commitment to improving the student experience.
