**Join the team**

As the Tech Lead you will be joining our Marketing and Loyalty Tribe within the Customer Technology team. This tribe delivers high complex, cross-channel customer experiences across 1:1 executions, on-site, mobile, in paid media, and more. Our Marketing and Loyalty Tribe are establishing a best-in-breed marketing and loyalty platform.You will be given autonomy and the opportunity to own the technical direction and vision of your squad. Furthermore, you will be collaborating with a variety of different functions across Kmart as we look to enable key value streams across Kmart’s marketing and loyalty space.

**What you’ll be doing**

As a Tech Lead working at Kmart, you will:

- Provide engineering leadership to cross functional development and/or data teams that promote rapid innovation
- Deliver highly complex, cross-channel customer experiences across 1:1 channels, on-site, mobile, paid media and more
- Contribute to the establishment and enhancement of a best-in-breed marketing and loyalty platform
- Ability to lead change, represent end users’ interests and motivate others effectively

**To be successful in this role you’ll have**:

- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience
- Cloud certification (AWS, GCP, Azure) at a professional level
- An understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment - with an emphasis on experimentation and learning)
- Proficient with the client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- An understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX, code versioning tools, such as Git / SVN / TFS
- Coding and programming experience with a strong focus on data
- You have working knowledge of the following: Tag Management platforms - e.g., Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, TealiumiQ; CRO platforms - e.g., Optimizely, Dynamic Yield, Adobe Target; Customer Data Platforms - e.g., Segment, Boxever, Tealium AudienceStream
