**About the Role**

We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Officer (Accounts Payable) to join the team on a Part Time basis, to cover maternity leave for a minimum of 12 months (possibility of extension). Hours are flexible, with the preferrence to work Monday to Friday, 5 - 6 hours per day. Reporting the Financial Controller, the Finance Officer (Accounts Payable) role is responsible for processing of payable account enquiries, invoices and liaising with our external business partners.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Managing the process of invoices and approved payments as per the process and payment schedule.
- Completing reconciliations, ensuring key balance sheet items are reconciled and outstanding standing items are actioned.
- Managing the Accounts Payable (AP) inbox and answering queries in a timely manner.
- Verify and enter all operational Supplier invoices into Netsuite.
- Creating the weekly payment sheet with payment requests, for all companies.
- Processing payments both domestic and international in Netsuite.
- Liaising with Suppliers regarding payments and accounts.
- Sending out remittances weekly.
- Processing payments in Westpac and ANZ, AUD, USD and NZ.
- Managing the company credit cards and reconciliations and assisting employees with expense management system.
- Managing AP procedures and reconciliations for end of month and end of financial year.
- Other Administrative duties, including Archiving, filing and miscellaneous administration duties.

**About You**

As the successful Accounts Payable Officer, you will be/have:

- A Bachelor of Accounting or similar is desirable but not essential
- Able to demonstrate success and experience in a similar role, ideally between 2-5 years’ previous experience
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting software
- Impeccable attention to detail and ability to work autonomously with little guidance
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work towards a deadline while working on multiple projects
- A positive attitude and above all have a passion for the work you output.
