**Position Summary**
The **NDIS Business Manager** is responsible for overseeing the operational, financial, and strategic management of NDIS services within the organisation. This role ensures compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards standards, drives business growth, improves service delivery, and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders, participants, and funding bodies.
**Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness & Operational Management**
- Oversee day-to-day operations of NDIS service delivery, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and quality
- Lead and manage service teams, including support coordinators, rostering, and frontline staff
- Implement and monitor systems to ensure smooth participant onboarding, service planning, and delivery
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls related to NDIS operations
- Ensure accurate claiming and billing through the NDIS portal and financial systems
- Use data and reporting to monitor KPIs, identify trends, and drive performance improvements
**Compliance & Quality Assurance**
- Ensure services meet all requirements of the **NDIS Practice Standards**, **NDIS Code of Conduct**, and relevant legislation
- Prepare for and lead internal audits and external NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission audits
- Oversee risk management and incident reporting processes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NDIS policy changes, pricing updates, and industry trends
**Strategic Growth & Stakeholder Engagement**
- Identify and pursue opportunities for service growth and business development
- Build and maintain relationships with participants, families, advocates, and external partners
- Develop proposals, partnerships, and submissions to expand services or secure funding
- Represent the organisation in sector networks, forums, and community events
**Essential Criteria**
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Health, Community Services, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience in the disability, health, or community services sector
- Strong knowledge of the NDIS framework, including price guides, service delivery, and compliance requirements
- Experience managing teams, budgets, and operational systems in a dynamic environment
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive growth and improve service quality
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
**Desirable Criteria**
- Experience with client management systems (e.g., SupportAbility, Lumary, Careview, etc.)
- Project management or change management experience
- Experience in marketing or community engagement
- Lived experience of disability or working in a peer-led organisation
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
