**Title**: NDIS Business Manager
**Employment Type**: Full-time (38 hours per week)
**Reports To**: Directors (2)
**Direct Reports**: Approximately 20 systematic and ad hoc casual disability support workers
**Location**: Western Suburbs of Melbourne (primarily work-from-home)

Amari Services is a registered NDIS provider offering various services to people with disabilities, including household tasks, yard maintenance, Support Work and Support Coordination. **PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**
The NDIS Business Manager oversees Amari Services' daily operations, including:
- **Independent Service Delivery (approx. 25 hours per week)** - Providing direct services to NDIS participants.
- **Team Support & Leadership (approx. 8 hours per week)** - Supporting and managing disability support workers.
- **Marketing and Business Development (approx. 2.5 hours per week)** - Driving client engagement and company growth.
- **Compliance, Process Design, Refinement, and Documentation** **(approx. 2.5 hours per week)**- Ensuring service efficiency and compliance.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
**1. Service Delivery (25 hours per week)**
- Provide various NDIS services, including Support Coordination, Capacity Building, and Community Access Support Work.
- Develop and implement individualised support plans based on participant goals.
- Monitor, review, and adjust participant progress and support strategies.
- Maintain accurate service delivery records and ensure compliance with NDIS requirements.
- Liaise with participants, families, and external stakeholders to support goal achievement.
**2. Team Support and Leadership (8 hours per week)**
- Supervise, mentor, and support disability support workers to ensure quality service delivery.
- Conduct team meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
- Ensure the availability of necessary equipment and supplies for service delivery.
- Provide debriefing and support for staff managing complex client needs and incidents.
- Assist with staff onboarding and ensure adherence to Amari Services’ values and protocols.
**3. Marketing and Business Development (2.5 hours per week)**
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients.
- Manage the company’s social media presence, including content creation and community engagement.
- Write blog posts, website content, and newsletters to promote services.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and referrals.
**4. Compliance, Process Design, Refinement, and Documentation (2.5 hours per week)**
- Regularly review, refine, and document operational processes to enhance efficiency.
- Develop and implement new processes aligned with NDIS best practices.
- Ensure that all processes comply with NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Standards.
- Maintain comprehensive procedural documentation for internal use.
**KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)**
- Maintain an active caseload and achieve positive participant outcomes.
- Ensure all team members receive regular support and training.
- Contribute to an increase in NDIS service hours and overall revenue.
- Maintain compliance with NDIS regulations and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting to the Director.
**REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
**Essential**:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Support Coordinator.
- Strong understanding of the NDIS framework, funding categories, and service agreements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Experience with CRM & HR systems such as ShiftCare, BrightHR, ActiveCampaign.
- Tertiary qualification in Disability, Community Services, Business, or a related field.
**Desirable**:
- Experience as a Support Worker.
- Experience in team leadership or supervision.
- Background in marketing, SEO, or social media management.
**OTHER REQUIREMENTS**
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Police Check & Working with Children Check
- Reliable internet connection and willingness to use own phone/laptop initially (company to provide after probation period)
**Job Types**: Fixed term, Casual
