Melbourne, Australia Inject Full time

Full-time permanent role in a stable industry. Moorabbin based warehouse.
- Monday to Friday. No weekends or overtime
- Grow your career in a national company with 40 years of success

**About CDK Stone and the Role**

CDK Stone is the one to beat when it comes to providing total support to the stone industry. We are not only renowned for importing and selling high-quality natural stone and a premium range of tools and equipment, but we install, service, and maintain cutting-edge stone processing machinery for customers across Australia.

Whilst we are a national company, we have a close-knit warehouse and service team that supports our customers and the wider business. We are now looking for an Inventory Controller to support our machinery division.

**Why You Want To Work Here**
- We want to develop your expertise in a variety of areas in the warehouse. Whether it is getting you your forklift license, learning how to do cycle counts and stock takes effectively or giving quality service to customers - we want to give you the skills to grow at CDK Stone.
- You will learn about complex, automated machinery and help coordinate the movement of high quality, premium parts that will contribute to the success of a customer’s business.
- Better still, you will be working within the service department that is set for its next stage of growth and where this role will play a central role in the success of the company.

**About You**
- You might've worked in a warehouse before and have always wondered what it would be like to develop your skills in inventory and logistics. While you've enjoyed the diversity and on the go nature of the warehouse, you're on the lookout for an opportunity that will allow you to accelerate your career.
- Whether it is picking and packing orders or assisting with cycle counts you're always willing to help out when required - no task is too big or small.
- You may not know much about industrial machinery, and that’s OK. You’re someone who enjoys learning new things and is always seeking feedback from your manager on how you can improve your skills.
- Finally, your good nature and empathetic approach mean that you can get along with just about anyone.

**About the Role**

As a key person within the Service and Machinery Division, you will work closely with the warehousing and purchasing team by:

- Completing cycle counts and stock takes within the warehouse and ensuring that reconciliations are complete for stock takes.
- Assist with the despatch process by picking and packing machine parts and using the forklift to load products onto couriers (if you don’t have a forklift license, we will help you get one)
- Working in collaboration with the Purchasing Coordinator, updating them on outgoing stock and future requirements to meet customer needs.
- Ensuring that the warehouse is clean and tidy and OH&S standards, policies and procedures are being adhered to.
- Dispatching orders to customers

**Selection Criteria**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- An interest in warehousing and speaking with customers.
- An interest in learning about technical products.

**What Next**

If you are interested, please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing what appeals to you about this opportunity.
