**The Opportunity**:
We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Hospital Pharmacy Technician to join our Slade Pharmacy team onsite at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, Fitzroy. This position is ideal for anyone wanting to pick up some extra work during the week and gain valuable experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.

This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Dispense medication for hospital patients
- Assist with administration tasks
- Serve customers and discharge patients and assist them with any queries and OTC medication needs
- Order, scan and deliver Imprest medication around the various wards across the hospital
- Order and maintain medications required for the dispensary
- Prepare for and conduct the pharmacy stocktakes
- Assist with receipting invoices

- Essential Requirements:_
- Previous experience dispensing medication in an Australian-based community or hospital pharmacy
- Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
