**The Opportunity**:
We have 2 part-time opportunities for a Pharmacy Technician or a Pharmacy Student to join our supportive and collaborative team at Mulgrave Private Hospital. Working each Saturday, you’ll make a real difference to the lives of patients and deliver exceptional pharmacy services to the hospital.

You will be working closely with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of experienced and enthusiastic pharmacists who are excited to share their knowledge, guidance and support, through hands-on training in hospital pharmacy services.

This is a permanent part-time position, working each Saturday. The start and finish times each Saturday vary on a bi-weekly basis, as follows:

- Week 1 - 9:30 AM to 4:30PM_
- Week 2 - 8:00AM to 5:00PM_

**In this role, you’ll**:

- Receive, dispense and supply medications for hospital inpatients and outpatients
- Assist in processing and maintaining imprest levels, and managing hospital ward stock
- Reconcile and manage prescriptions and patient medication discharge profiles
- Provide support and customer service to patients, carers and hospital staff
- Assist with S2/S3 sales
- Support the pharmacist
- Provide support for phone enquiries
- Process PBS claims and assist in producing medication profiles to hospital patients on discharge
- Confidently complete administrative and record keeping duties
- Assist with patient account enquiries

Our pharmacy provides a wide range of medications, alongside expert advice delivered by an experienced pharmacy team. - Eligibility Requirements:_
- Previous experience dispensing medication in an Australian or New Zealand pharmacy
- Experience and knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
- Knowledge of S2/S3 medications
