We have a unique opportunity for you to join our team as a **Pharmacy Technician** for a 12-month maternity leave contract at Richmond Pharmacy. This role is ideal for those who are planning to complete their registration and would like a clear pathway toward an intern position in 2026.

- This role is purely a technician position with no AHPRA provisional supervision available until the intern program begins in 2026. We want to be clear about the expectations, so applicants should be prepared for a full year of hands-on pharmacy technician duties before transitioning into their intern role._

Working with our supportive and collaborative team, you will provide vital pharmacy services to our customers and patients, ensuring that all pharmacy activities are completed to a high standard while supporting the patients’ medication needs.

**Key responsibilities in the role**:

- Dispense and supply medications, pharmacy products and OTC products
- Inventory control and management
- Process orders
- Process sales transactions and assist with account queries
- Ensure patients receive the correct medication
- Support patients, carers, clinic staff, hospital staff and associated employees
- Learn to mix cancer therapies using a closed-system safety device
