**About the Role**

Following a period of sustained growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our team based in Melbourne working within our growing Retail/Supermarket channel. You will be working across National brands, as well as smaller independent retailers. This position is perfect for a professional, self-driven and energetic person who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Experience in flowers is not essential, however experience in Fresh produce is highly preferred. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with some weekend flexibility required around peak day events. We are also open to flexibility with working hours to accommodate your needs.

Key responsibilities:

- Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Serve as the primary contact for accounts and address issues proactively
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve KPI objectives
- Monitor sales performance, track KPI’s, and prepare regular reports for management.
- Identify opportunities for growth within the category and implement plans to execute
- Manage and lead a small team of merchandisers
- Instore communication with store managers and attending to customer inquiries
- Provide feedback on market pricing and trends.
- Provide feedback on in store quality and corrective actions.
- Plan and implement key range designs on special occasions such as Valentine and Mother’s Day
- Manage the floral range and bouquet design
- Assist managing costings and margins
- Assist channel manager in controlling in store waste on SOR stores.
- Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols

**About You**
- Understanding customer needs and providing excellent services.
- Interacting with customers and retail store managers
- Adhere, implement, and enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a secure working environment.
- Develop a culture & implement standards that support and ensure a safe workplace and prevent injuries.
- Willingness to travel to different stores.
- Provide leadership and motivation within your team to achieve daily targets and quality standards.
- Train and onboard new team members and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Forecast workload and assist in rostering staff accordingly.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
