**THE ROLE**

If you are a passionate, self-motivated individual with exceptional communication skills, we invite you to join our Gas Networks & Services Team and support our gas meter reading operations and field crews. Located in our Derrimut depot, our elite team delivers over 4M cyclic meter reads per year, along with 250,000 additional special read service orders and 2,000 meter disconnection service orders annually.
- Some of the key responsibilities include: _
- Assist the Scheduler in managing and monitoring scheduling activities to maximise work allocation.
- Escalate issues to the Operations Manager as necessary and monitor workforce overtime, allowances, and non-productive time.
- Assist with ensuring meter reading services meet technical standards and agreed schedules.
- Assist in creating daily, weekly, and monthly reports to track meter reading service activities.
- Liaise with critical internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, Downer employees, and the general public.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Previous experience in a cross-functional administrative environment with a diverse skill set.
- Experience with meter reading and special reading, as well as familiarity with the systems used for these activities, is desirable.
