We are looking for a - **Architecture & Merchandising Manager **based in Sydney CBD.**The Role** - The - **Architecture & Merchandising Manager **is responsible for the successful execution of all Permanent Clarins retail counters across Australia and New Zealand.- This role is crucial to ensure all designs and installations incorporate Global Store Design strategy and superior brand presentation, while also addressing marketing strategies and financial goals.- This role reports directly to the Brand Director and works closely with the General Manager, Sales, Logistics and Marketing Teams and the APAC Design & VM Teams. This role has one direct report, our Visual Merchandising Lead.- The role is focused on five major categories: - Counter/ Boutique openings, renovations and retrofits - Launch planning and counter changeovers - Large-scale brand events and special trade projects - Team management - Budget and cost management **You Have** - Minimum Diploma/Degree, specializing in Interior Design/ Architecture, Visual Merchandising, Industrial Design or relevant background - 7 to 10 years of experience in designing for retail - Software knowledge in Sketch-Up, Adobe Creative Suite, Autocad - Ability to work well withing a team, as well as autonomously - Freedom to work flexible hours and travel when necessary, throughout Australia and NZ **Desirable Skills** - Working experience within the beauty or luxury goods sector - Ability to supervise and motivate direct report - Competitive understanding on Design, colour, style, material, light, texture, and finish **We Have** - Close to 70 years of expertise in beauty and spa, with the Clarins and myBlend brands - Unique products and innovative services - A commitment to Social & Environmental Responsibility embedded in our _raison d'être_ - A caring and inclusive corporate culture - Development and training opportunities - Attractive compensation and benefits - A flexible work environment, with up to 2 days of remote working per week - Very generous product allowance - Annual 'Clarins College of Learning' events - 'Day-cation' initiative - 1 paid day off each quarter separate to your annual leave - Celebrations, and Sustainability initiatives all year round - driven by our committees - If you have a curious mind, a thirst to go further and the drive to boldly take on new challenges, join us.
